About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Tortilla Equipment Operator to join our team at SA Colonial Tortilla Factory. As an operator, you will be responsible for handling and maintaining the equipment used in tortilla production, ensuring that the products are made with the highest quality and efficiency. Responsibilities:
-Safely and efficiently operate tortilla production equipment.
-Monitor and adjust machines as needed to ensure product quality.
-Make adjustments during production to meet customer specifications.
-Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, clean it, and ensure it is in good working order.
-Oversee the workflow during production to ensure the process runs smoothly and efficiently.
-Inspect tortillas to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for packaging.
-Work closely with the production team to ensure orders are completed on time and as expected.
-Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

Requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Residency is required and non-negotiable).
Male. 25+ years old.
Experience preferred, but not required.
Preferably lives near the area.
Ability to work in a physical role, lifting mass batches, standing for long periods during shifts, hand-working masa dough, performing basic production equipment fixes.
Knowledge of applicable safety policies and procedures.
Ability to meet all physical requirements including lifting, crouching, climbing, etc. required in the completion of maintenance and facilities tasks.
Confidence in operating machinery on a daily basis.
Working hours Monday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm
