Expiration

Our products do not contain artificial preservatives, so they need to remain refrigerated at all times.

Protect your packages from excesive heat.

Ex. Avoid leaving them in the car or next to a heating source for long periods of time before refrigerating. This could drastically reduce our product's life. 

Storage

Room temperature: 3 to 4 days
Refrigerated: 3 to 4 months
Freezed: Up to a year (Please go to "Defrost" for tips on unfreezing our tortilla)

Handling

Step 1. Prepare your tortilla leaving it at room temperature prior using.

Step 2. Moist the tortilla and comal/plancha with a mixture of water and edible oil or lard (we use a spray bottle) . The comal must be at a medium temperature.

Step 3. Flip yout tortillas quickly and only twice, then remove from comal.

Extra tip: If you are preparing double tortilla tacos we recommend to heat both tortillas at the same time.

Defrost

Place  in refrigeration until defrost. Color might change slightly, the tortilla is still apt and great for consumption!
